　　Did Danny play football well at the beginning? Danny practiced more, so he can play well now. It tells us: Practice makes perfect. Practice more, your English will be better and better.

  【设计意图】：通过细读文本，解决第5个问题。使学生深入理解文本，体会文本内涵。引导学生有感情朗读段落，培养学生的阅读能力。“立德树人”是教师的首要任务，空谈说教往往是纸上谈兵，根本不能融入学生的内心。借助文本中潜在的信息，潜移默化地引领学生才是无痕的教育。设计中教师以Danny为线索，纵向地展现出他的练习过程：爱好足球但不会踢——参加足球俱乐部练习踢球——会踢足球并为比赛赢得关键一分。既完整地串联起故事的发展过程，又借机渗透了“勤能补拙是良训，一分辛苦一分才”的情感教育。

  Did Danny win the match by himself? They won the game together. Football is a team work.They should work together, and helped each other. Our class is a big team. And every group is a small team. So we should work together and help each other. Then we will be better and better. Right? Because: Many hands make light work.

  【设计意图】：通过跟读模仿，规范学生的语音、语调。足球比赛是一项团队活动，因此，我设计了“是Danny自己赢得了比赛吗？”这一问题，借此引发学生思考，学会正确看待Danny的功劳，正确审视足球比赛的特殊性，从而，让学生心悦诚服地接受“学会合作”的思想教育，力求达到润物细无声的教育境界。

  Step 5 Post-reading

  1.Words about past tense.

  2.Retell the story.

  Now can you retell the story? Please read the story, then try to retell it in pairs. The words and phrases can help you. 出示文本图片，学生自读课文，并结合图片复述课文。

  【设计意图】：引导学生梳理过去式的单词，为复述课文作准备。图片及填空的形式引导学生复述课文，为后面学生自己用过去式介绍篮球比赛做铺垫。

   2. Read and fill.

   Danny won the match. He was very excited. So he wrote a diary about the match. Can you fill in the blanks to finish the diary? 

   It’s the first time for us to write the words with one line. How to write? Do you know? It means the third line.

   【设计意图】：这是第一次出现一条线的书写格式，通过示范，引导学生观察，当只有一条线写的时候怎样进行书写，要求学生认真书写，同桌进行批改，互助改错，培养学生的认真书写及纠错能力。

    3. Introduce a basketball match.

    We know Jenny and Wang Hong watched the basketball match. Their class won the match. Jenny was excited. So she wants to introduce the match to her classmate. Can you help Jenny tell others the basketball match?

  【设计意图】：综合运用本节课的知识，结合本单元1、2课的知识，引导学生描述用过去式描述第2课的篮球比赛，给学生短语辅助，减低学生的学习难度。通过小组合作的方式进行介绍，培养学生的小组合作能力。
